• Lifelines : Another genealogicial open-source software. Works on both Unix and Dos without any bloated graphical interface. Includes a very powerful reporting language.

• Relevés ( Download ) : (sorry for english-speaking users, no english version here. This is about a french MS-Dos program for recording readings from manuscripts. Sorry, I'm not really familiar with english terms for genealogy!) Ce logiciel écrit par Richard Xeux pour les besoins du CG Midi-Provence est un excellent outil d'aide à la saisie informatique de relevés NMBS. Il fonctionne sous MS-Dos ou dans une "boite Dos" de Windows 95/98/NT. Installation :
  • Créer un répertoire C:\releves (IMPERATIF : le logiciel ne fonctionne que dans ce répertoire)
  • Copier saisies.exe dans ce répertoire
  • Lancer saisies.exe. C'est un autodécompactable et de nombreux fichiers sont alors créés.
  • Effacer saisies.exe dans C:\releves. : il est désormais inutile
  • Lancer RELEVES.EXE
