Today, I found an interesting use of Google Maps:

That happens to be my running loop as of today, the longest ever. For Dirk Eddelbuettel: 16.87km, 1h41. I'm still far from your marathon performances..:-)

Amazing how each and every small track in the fields is mentioned and, believe me, they have the *right* names.

After all, I could use this to track down my running data. Only drawback: it takes about 15 minutes to draw such loop.
